CALL FOR SIDE EVENTS on behalf of the Secretariat of the International Investment Forum “Dushanbe Invest 2025”
14–16 October 2025, Dushanbe, Republic of Tajikistan
I. General Provisions
- Initiative: The Secretariat of the International Investment Forum “Dushanbe Invest 2025” announces the call for applications to organize side events to be held during the forum as an integral part of its business program.
- Purpose: Side events provide forum participants with an additional platform for project presentations, knowledge exchange, discussions of specific initiatives, and the deepening of international and cross‑sector cooperation.
- Who can apply:
- Government agencies of the Republic of Tajikistan;
- International and regional organizations;
- Local self‑government bodies;
- Business associations and private companies;
- Donor organizations and financial institutions;
- Academic, research and educational institutions;
- Non‑governmental organizations, expert communities and startup hubs.
- Event themes:
- Investment in industry, energy, agriculture and logistics;
- Development of the digital economy and innovation infrastructure;
- Sustainable development, green technologies and ecosystem approaches;
- Cross‑border and regional cooperation;
- Support for entrepreneurship, SMEs, women’s and youth business;
- Integration into international production and logistics chains.
II. Format and Conditions
- Side event formats may include:
- Panel discussions, round tables and thematic sessions;
- Project and startup presentations, pitch sessions;
- Workshops, trainings, master classes;
- Bilateral and multilateral business meetings (B2B, B2G);
- Off‑site events (visits to FEZs, enterprises, industrial zones, etc.);
- Signing ceremonies and launch of joint initiatives.
- Duration: the recommended duration of a side event is 60–90 minutes. Other timeframes can be agreed upon with justification.
- Working languages: Tajik, Russian, English. Organizers using other languages must provide interpretation.
- Locations: side events will be held at various venues across Dushanbe (hotels, business and exhibition centers, FEZs, company offices, etc.) and coordinated with the official forum program.
III. Application and Review Procedure
- Submission process:
- Fill out the application form (available on the website or upon request from the Secretariat);
- Send the application to: secretariat@dushanbeinvest.com (email subject: “Side Event / [organization name]”);
- Application deadline — 20 August 2025.
- Review: all applications will be reviewed by the Secretariat within 10 working days. Applicants will receive written notification with the outcome, conditions, timeslot and technical requirements.
- Selection criteria:
- Alignment with the forum’s goals and themes;
- Clear and well‑developed concept and format;
- Confirmed readiness to cover organizational costs;
- Added value for forum participants and development partners.
IV. Responsibilities
- Responsibilities of side event organizers:
- Developing the content program of the event;
- Inviting and coordinating speakers and participants;
- Providing necessary technical equipment (if required);
- Arranging interpretation and moderation;
- Summarizing outcomes and submitting a brief report to the Secretariat within 5 days after the event;
- Financing all related costs (except those covered by the Secretariat).
- Support from the Secretariat:
- Inclusion of approved side events in the official forum program;
- Assistance in venue selection and booking (upon request);
- Visa support and accreditation for participants;
- Coverage in the forum’s information and PR materials;
- Logistics coordination (as agreed).
